Spring Break 2011

We got to Go to Coeur d'Alene during Spring Break. It was full of non stop FUN. Nana and Papa spoiled us ALL. The kids were especially spoiled and suprised when Papa rolled out a 90 4wheeler just for them. They were really good about wearing their helmets and being careful. But they did get daring and learned how to shift within a day and just had a lot of fun.

Jack needed some attention. He wanted Jappy to pick him up. and when he didn't he started climbing on him. Jappy didn't take the hint.

Jay wasn't big enough to ride it this year. But I bet next year he'll be a wild man on it. But he was content riding everything else with wheels.

Coeur d'Alene got a grant to build a HUGE Gym. it's called the Kroc Center. It has two pools the kid pool and then an olympic size pool, several work out areas, plus rooms for aerobic classes, and dance classes, kid and teen rooms with video games, a movie room, huge rock wall, and so much more I can't list it all. The kids really wanted to swim so we spent and afternoon there. We saw lots of people we knew and had a chance to catch up on them and their families. I really wish Pocatello had something like that for families.

We went to a new Fire Station and had the GRAND tour. The kids loved getting in the trucks and trying on the fire helmets, and meeting the Arson Dog. We got to see him in action, he did a little demonstration for us. It really amazes me what they can train them to do.

We also took some time to visit Friends and Family, that we haven't seen in awhile. The girls cried all morning the day that we left. We made it home in record time. We would have liked to sleep in till noon the next day.

The last 2 weeks have been filled with Coughs, runny noses, sore throats, fevers, and R.S.V.
My poor Baby was SICK. We had his oxygen tested and thankfully it was high enough to avoid being admitted to the hospital. It was a tiring week. He is back to normal, but he still thinks he needs to sleep in my arms. He was spoiled before he was sick, But NOW........He's the king of the Castle.
He still has hair and I've cut it a few times. He's Mr. Chunky weighing in at 15 lbs He's smiling, and we get closer everyday to getting him to laugh. He is such a snuggly baby. We are enjoying every minute of him.
Jet 3 1/2 months

Jay's favorite game. Shooting the girls headbands in the air.
The Girls have been home from school because of sore throats and fevers. They seem to be on the mend, and I'm hoping they can return to school tomorrow.
Mr. Jay.................... Everyday is an ADVENTURE!!
He is in the 'WHY' stage and its making us crazy. But is so fun to hear him talk like a big kid. I heard him yelling at Brooklyn the other day. "Ooklyn come here, I show you something" and "It's ok Baby Jet, it's ok" "Mom, I hold you" "I need an issue (tissue)" And he asks me if he can play with friends when he goes outside. It cracks me up everytime.

D+C Hitched

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Larsen
Nevermind the strange look on Cami's Face. She really was Happy.

The little partners in Crime. They have missed each other.
We had a GREAT Weekend in Logan! It seems strange that our Little Dustin is Married. But he couldn't have picked a better person.
I didn't get a family picture. Jet wasn't feeling well and it was very cold.
We are so happy for Dustin and Cami. It was good to be in the temple together and remember our own Sealing. And to be with the Family.

We had some company this week. Nana and Papa came for a visit. Jay entertained them with his wild ways. I think it's going to take them some time to recover from this visit.

Papa took a shift with Jet so that we could get in a game of Mexican Train.

The weather has warmed up and then got cold again. Jay's itchy to be outside.

Well, I have done it. I have survived my first month and a half with no husband on Sunday. I defiantly CAN NOT say that I have done it on my own because I have had A LOT of help. I do however get everyone ready and I have not been late yet...Oh I take that back once and it was during the opening hymn. We have some pretty fabulous, Wonderful, Thoughtful. Loving friends that sit close by to help with a hungry baby, or restless toddler. Sunday would be a lot harder with out them. We feel so Blessed.
Jet is a Chunky Monkey...Weighing in at 13 lbs 4 oz. He's in the 92% for his age. That makes Dad very happy. He's starting to smile and coo and can focus in on our faces. We took him in for a Dr. appointment, and we realized he had an ear infection. He's been a little grumpy but is recovering quickly.
He is such a good baby.. He's sleeping 5 hours at night at once and then will eat and will sleep for another 3. We have no complaints.
Jet 2 months
Jay on the other hand has been finding his way into our bed at night. I really Dis Like my kids sleeping in our bed. No one gets any rest. We do take him right out when we realize he's there, but we haven't come up with a solution to keep him from getting in our bed. I'll take any advice you have. He is however pretty sweet with Jet, and constantly wants to hold his hand. Each night before bed Jay gets a book read to him and we pray as a family. Last night Jappy was reading him a children's Church book and Jay pointed to a picture of Jesus (Without any prompting) and said "Jesus Christ" Then he wanted to pray and did it on his own. Jappy could only understand the beginning and the end, but he did it on his own. It was a sweet moment. Sweet moment are what we CLING to.
He knows when he is in trouble and will run to us throw his arms around us and Say " I sorry Mommy" I really think he just plays us. Who can get mad at that? But then again we could yell and scream his name or tell him to stop and he can ignore us as if he was deaf. Once again I'll take any advice. He is nothing like my girls when it comes to discipline, or when we tell him "No" He really doesn't care about consequences. Please tell me he'll grow out of that.
I took the boys out for the first time by myself last week. I had to go to the grocery store only for a loaf of bread. So I could make the girls lunch and run it to the school. I thought I could handle it.. Boy was I wrong. Jet was in the cart and there wasn't room for Jay so he walked with me.. Walking is what he didn't do. He RAN through the store zipping in and out of people and down the aisles. I wasn't sure if I should chase him or stay with the baby. I stayed with the babe and tried to stay calm. And when he would come back to me I'd lecture, and bribe him and walk 10 more steps and he was OFF AGAIN. I do have a monkey leash that he will be wearing from now on IF I EVER decide to leave the house again. Like I said we CLING to the SWEET moments we have with him.

We put is energy to use. I love this picture. He loves his Hat. Anytime he goes out he has to have it on. We had many cars slow down to admire him in the front yard. We get lots of comments on how handsome he is in it.

Girls are back at school and we are trying to find our routine again. It's not easy when they've been out for so long. They've gone to school a couple of times with out their hair done. Oh well.. at least their clean and fed before they leave!
I feel so behind in everything I'm hoping that one of these days I'll feel like I've got it together. I hate the feeling of being scattered and chaotic.
Jappy is busy with his calling and work. I'm ready for things to settle down. The Gym is starting up their weight loss challenge and Jappy and our Nephew Austin are going to give it another GO. They weigh in next weekend. Then it's healthy eating for the Jeppsen's.
We are excited for a New Year. We have made a list of things that we want to accomplish as a family this year. So far we have started the New Year better than the Last. We are hoping it gets even better.

Christmas '10'

Christmas 2010
We made it through another Christmas. Jappy took the week off and we got all our Christmas shopping done 3 days early. We kept it low key but tried to do something special each day. We actually got out and looked at the lights this year, made gingerbread houses, made treats for neighbors, wrote letters to Santa, and read lots and lots of books. The kids were fun to watch opening their gifts. It makes it so much fun when they are so excited about everything and anything.Girls in their Jammies

Jet 6 weeks Isn't he SWEET??

He slept from midnight to 7 this morning. I'm sure it was a fluke thing. But I do feel refreshed!!
