1st Soccer Game

Mady had her first soccer game. and all I can say is YIKES! They don't keep score but they lost 5-0 Mady had a chance to play goalie. She doesn't like that spot cause she doesn't get to kick the ball. She didn't care that she was the only one that got to touch it. She is very timid on the field she doesn't want to hurt anyone. This especially frustrates Jappy. (In a good way) He finally told her "Just kick the other kids in the shine." Good parenting I know. All in all she had fun and it's a learning experience for all of us. It was fun to cheer her on. We look forward to her games in the coming months.
After her game we loaded the car and drove to Logan for the remainder of the day. We played games and celebrated some birthdays. We played a tiny bit of Guitar Hero, Jappy's sister Tammy was hilarious to watch. She couldn't get her rhythm down. but she was dancing up a storm while trying to play, it was really funny. After she was booed off the stage for the 2nd time she gave up. We got to see Miss Brielle Oh she's cute. I didn't get any pictures sorry. Her and Jay enjoyed stealing one another's pacifiers out of each others mouth. They were very cute together. It was a fun night. Thank you Jessi for sharing your cute house with us.
Mr Magoo this morning after church. Oh is soo cute. I wasn't a very good mother this week. Jay took a tumble down the stairs, all 13. Scared me to death. He's fine.
He was down the hall with the girls watching them clean there room when I grabbed the dry cleaning from our room. Well when I came out of my room he saw me and started to follow me and took it out to the garage and threw it in the front seat of the Durango. . I didn't think it was a big deal I was fast. When I came in I heard him screaming but couldn't see him. I saw him downstairs and ran down and picked him up, he stopped crying immediately and SMILED AT ME. Stinker he's totally fine, He's a tough lil boy. The girls felt terrible and were taking the blame they're so sweet. They love their brother soo much and hate when he cries. They are very sensitive when it comes to him and is unhappiness.
We finished off Mady's spring break with a movie Friday Night We got a sitter for Jay, and took them to see Return to Witch Mountain. It was a very good movie and recommend taking your kids to see it. It kept us on the edge of our seat the whole time. She had a good spring break and is ready to head back to school. She only has 45 days left of school until she's out for the summer. It will be nice to have her home but on the other hand... We'll need to do some planning that's for sure. To keep her busy.
Jappy's been busy at the bank. It's been a stressful couple weeks for him. I'm just grateful he still hasn't quit. The only things that keeps him going is the girls he works with and knowing he has two mortgages to pay. We're hoping it slows down and the jerky customers get a clue that he is just the messenger, and that he doesn't make the rules. We're hoping for a better week.

Spring has Sprung, OR Has it?

Last week we had gorgeous sunshine. With warm Temps. We spent every minute we could outside. Even spending time at the park. Mady and Jay LOVE the swings.
We were really looking forward to Mady's Spring Break We were thinking about picnic's in the park , bike rides, and lunches with dad. and maybe an over night trip to LAVA Hot Springs.
And then it snowed a couple inches. It hasn't gotten warmer than 40 degrees. So we have had to re think our activities for the week. The girls had a game night with Daddy on Monday. They played Twister, Chutes and Ladders and Candy Land. Tuesday we had Lunch at McDonald's and played in the play land, and went to the Gym . Wednesday (Today) we went to the skating rink. Thursday we're headed to the Library and Friday Hopefully a movie. The girls having been wanting to see 'Return to Witch Mt.' Than Saturday Mady has her first soccer game and then we're going to Logan to spend the rest of the day with Jessi.
I hope Mady still had a fun Spring Break, Even though it didn't turn out to what we had planned.
Jappy putting the girls to bed. It's no lite load either.
Jay loves standing!! When I go to get him after a nap he's all smiles.

Brooklyn at the skating rink. She's getting better but is very timid.

We finally got Brooklyn a big bed and moved her in with Mady. My house has suffered for it.
I've been working on a project in Jay's room and I'm finally done I made curtains and a dust ruffle for the crib and a pillow and it turned out GREAT! I'm sooo proud of myself!! I still need to find a few more things for his wall but for the most part it looks good. My niece made his hanging letters the picture doesn't do them justice. THANK YOU JESSI,

Jay signed for the first time on Friday "eat" I'm so proud of him.

Standing??

Our little boy is pulling himself up to a standing position. He's done it more than a few times. He has also sat up on his own from a crawling position a couple times. I feel like he is too little to be doing these things. He's crawling more and more. The girls are really good watch dogs. They protect him from every piece of lint/dust bunny in the house.
He's lucky to have 3 Momma Bears! 7 mos.

Malad Jr. Miss was over the weekend. I went and spent the day with the girls, and then watched Shay perform for her last time and give up her spot as an alternate.

Shay doing her dance routine. We were so proud of her.

Mady had a loose tooth and she told her dad that he could pull it out if he gave her $2.00 The two bargained and settled on $1.25. Jappy finally got to pull a tooth out he was so happy. Mady was pleased with her money. She was thinking. Not only did she get the money from dad but money from the tooth fairy. Smart thinking on her part

We have a crawler!!! He hasn't been feeling well lately so he hasn't been on the ground much, but he can get around and get into small places. It's been fun to watch him. We're hoping that this bug he has will soon get over with. He's had a temperature, sleepless nights, and running nose. I'm ready for him to be better It seems like he's had it for a month.

Fashion Show

Wendy Jessi Jen
Our niece Shay was asked to model for a Bridal shop in Idaho Falls. Every year Margene's puts together a modest prom dress fashion show, for the Young Women in the area. We met for dinner and then did a little shopping and then headed to the run way. It was fun. There's always someone who is a little more awkward than the rest. One of the models was just that way. Every time she came out I was nervous she was going to trip or fall off the stage. Jessi and I just laughed because it seemed she would never just walk and do the turn she had to put something extra in to it. We would cringe and than just laugh. Thankfully she didn't ever fall, but we sure wished that she would have just stuck to the routine, but It gave us something to laugh about.

Shay in the last dress. She modeled about four. I had a really hard time getting a good picture.

Miss Brielle was also there. She was all smiles for Aunt Jen
So does anyone remember the movie Back to the Future?

In the beginning when Marty goes back in time. He falls out of the tree and gets hit by his grandfathers car. He's taken into the house to rest and he wakes up gets dressed and goes downstairs and he's invited to stay for dinner. He sees the baby in the crib and realizes it his jail bird uncle. His grandmother says something about how he loves to be in there. Marty says something to the effect of "Get use to the bars" Anyways I have thought that a lot about Jay. He loves the bars. Should I be nervous that he'll be a jail bird?
